I love Turkish food and wanted so hard to love this place. Asked for Ayran to drink and though they made was lacking salt/seasoning. I got the mixed grill and good thing since out of five items only two were boderline ok and others seemed incorrectly seasoned and reheated old left overs. Most of these items would have been easily surpassed by street vendor food. In retrospect the fact that I was the only customer meant locals must have already figured out.
I was extremely let down by my experience at this restaurant. The food was okay, but nothing exceptional. Be sure to inquire about the prices of the specials before ordering. I ordered a mixed seafood dish which only included 3 mussels, 4 small shrimp, a few calamari rings, and 2 bay scallops for $33. In comparison, most restaurants offer double the amount of seafood for a lower price.
Eleven of us went out to celebrate my mom's birthday. My kids are vegetarians and it's always hard to find a place my mom will like, because she's very critical and my kids will like. Well everyone liked their meal. We had good service and everyone was happy.
We recently had dinner in this neighborhood gem and cannot wait to go back!! All four of us were more than pleased with our apps and meals!! Although a very casual atmosphere for a Saturday nite, the food is so delish it didn't matter!!! Réservez une table maintenant
This time we had dinner for four people. The appetizers were excellent, as we tried four different ones. For our main courses, we had the Branzino, which was delicious, and a salmon dish wrapped in grape leaves, which was exceptional!
The Turkish food at this modest storefront restaurant is excellent. It's no surprise that it's a popular spot among locals in the neighborhood.
Food was excellen! I had the chicken swarma. Appetizers are very varied and delicious. Service was excellent! We'll be back!
