The location is tremendous on Muskoka Bay, the service is brilliant attentive and professional, however the food is a highly disappointing. I ordered the "Jambalaya Fettuccine" it looked and smelled appetizing however the Jambalaya portion tasted like it had come directly from the freezer to a microwave... the pasta was even worse, soft water sodden congealing glop. My partner ordered a Perogie Pizza. All the toppings were heaped in the centre , it was bland, when advertised as spicy, she remember it being so much better in the past. Conclusion: If your into taco chips and beer on the patio with excellent wait staff, a world class view.... then five stars out of five... dinner hmmmm that's a...
Waitresses were not very friendly. Only one location I can think of where the wait staff was worse..but thats a whole other trip, and story. We got our drinks after about 20 minutes. The our appies shortly after, no plates, cutlery, or pizza stand...which was expected, at least with the pizza! We waited for one of the waitstaff to come over but got ignored until husband wave both arms to get noticed. Pretty bad when all the female waitstaff are focused on one table of guys. We finally got our plates etc and had our meal. I would also like to point out this awesome location needs a good cleaning for spider webs. Nothing worse than livestock on your food, or person while trying to enjoy a meal...
Great view of the lake, food is good, never offered catchup for our fries, never offered additional beverage. I was a little annoyed at paying $11.00 for a beer and my wife paid $10.00 for a glass of wine.Food was good. Served our appetizer on the existing plate, no side plates provided.Now going to the men's washroom was exciting no workable locks on the stalls, after washing your hands the air dryer does a great job of blowing water back on your shirt.I recommend the food, but don't expect extra beverages and watch out if you need to use the washroom.
This is a beautiful place to dine, especially on the patio right beside the water. It was so relaxing and we loved the food. Our waitress was really accommodating of our toddler with a high chair, crayons and colouring book. We walked the boardwalk and the piers and took pictures of the water. Loved it!
We ordered 3 take-out pastas which came to about $60 with tax and tip. We couldn't believe how little food we got. It's only pasta!!! The chicken in the chicken and mushroom pasta filled half a teaspoon. The shrimp dish came with 4 small shrimp. And the other pasta didn't fill 1/3 of the container
We'd ordered two pizzas to take away. After an extraordinarily long wait they arrived and we brought them back to our hotel room. When we opened the boxes one contained a pizza and the other a pile of cold toast?!?! See photo.Couldn't be bothered to walk back down the road to challenge them!
