My husband and I popped into Honiton Boston Tea Party at about on a Sunday. It was busy, the tables were full and yet we were greeted nearly immediately by some of the best customer service I have experienced in England. I’m not British,...and am often disappointed by the poor quality of customer service in cafes, particularly in the city. Not in Honiton. Every staff member we interacted with at Boston Tea Party was polite, helpful and friendly. The QR code ordering system worked a treat and our drinks were delivered promptly. Our food followed and a small mix-up with the order was remedied quickly and with a smile. Staff were constantly moving around tables checking if customers were happy and clearing away. The overall atmosphere was one of a well-oiled machine. The cakes and pastries looked great, and if I ever pass that way again I’d like to try their coffee blend. Our Boss breakfasts were very tasty, with some of the best hash browns we’ve ever had. The homemade beans were also a nice touch. Thank you!
find absolutely super! we drove honiton with a baby, a dog through, both my man and I are vegan and it was a Monday. we were all hungry, but estimated how challenging it could be somewhere in a city we don't know! this place was super friendly, the staff were all so friendly and helpful and went out of the way to ensure a positive experience! eating was great and good value. highly recommended!
my wife and I found this beautiful cafe restaurant on the way to cornwall, where you take a break from the drive. visited times have now the full breakfast twice and cream tee. the breakfast is very good eating. the cream tee with homemade scenes and tinted cream amazing. I bought slices of cake for the weekend, as they looked so good, I was not disappointed.
we love btp in honiton. becky operates a great team and we are usually a monthly visit. Eating is always great and freshly cooked. very happy staff ensures happy customers and there is a warm welcome for all. the cakes are pretty good. sometimes I go alone, just for a little time. highly recommended and worth paying a bit extra.
