The food was average, we ordered salad with salmon. The service was just okay. We had to wait a long time for our waiter to take our order. Even though the waiter served the tables around us multiple times, it took a while for them to finally take our order. When we finished our meal, the waiter asked if we wanted dessert and I mentioned that we had brought our own for my daughter's birthday. However, we were surprised when we were told there was a $25 fee for bringing our own cake. I met my parents in Belmont to celebrate my birthday they are locals and suggested Bottle Tree. So glad they did! The staff was friendly, welcoming, and very attentive. I ordered chard and wild mushroom enchiladas and we shared a bread basket. The flavors were rich; the presentation thoughtful and artistic. Bonus: Prosecco served in coupe glasses made my standard dinner beverage seem a little more elegant. The setting is a converted house it is small and intimate inside, but an expansive outdoor area allows for more covered seating overlooking an enormous oak tree. Give this place a try!! It is not inexpensive but their quantities and quality far exceeds their pricing.
Made a reservation during restaurant week for 5. Food was beautifully prepared and the drinks were well made. The only complaints were the scallops tasted burnt and when it was raised to the waiter there was no offer to replace the dish. The Carmel sauce for the peach kouchen tasted burnt as well. The cake was very dry and in comparison to the chocolate cake it was lackluster. Given that this was restaurant week on a Saturday evening, it was really busy. Our table was outside in what appeared to be a walk way without any fans or umbrellas like the other outside seats. There were flies everywhere because of it. I will not be coming back for their regular service.
We had to change tables because one of the seats was too low. Then the waitress tone when asking if we were ready for the ?large plates? order was rushing us and a bit condescending after we haven?t even finished our small plates and she asked several times the same question and we were still eating our small plates. The wine was good if you like cabernet sauv the ?Ministry? is pretty good. The taste of the meals were good. And everyone else treated us fairly. Parking kind of sucks because I had to drive around a few times around the block. So get there early depending on the time of day.

If you're in Belmont or live here, you have to check out this restaurant! The menu changes with the seasons, so my review is based on September 2023 and the small plates, main dishes, and desserts were all incredible. Our server, Barrick, provided excellent service and was very knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations and accommodating gluten-free options. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the cocktails were fantastic. I highly recommend visiting this spot - you won't be disappointed!
This place used to be my favorite when we moved to Belmont a few years ago. It definitely is not what it once was. The food is good, but not worth the money. They dont know how to cook a medium steak (should not be raw in the middle) and care just doesnt seem to be in the food. Went for brunch not long ago as well and I can just say, wont be doing that ever again. Take the time and travel a little farther into Charlotte to get more bang for your buck.
Pleasant atmosphere with unassuming elegance. Very friendly host and server. The food was excellent. You could tell they adhere to their farm to table commitment. Fresh veggies always taste best! Executive Chef Kyle visited our table and was most gracious. Definitely a place we'll visit again!
We had a great brunch experience, with high-quality food and excellent service. We returned later to enjoy live music on the back patio by Delta Fire, which was fantastic. Overall, it was a wonderful day.

Quirky little house with a back yard and a chef that knows how to cook. We sat outside. I had the pork loin and it was perfect. My cocktail not only beautiful but also delicious.
Such a lovely place!! The food is oh so delightful!! ???? The service is great and the atmosphere is very relaxed and calm. This is a must try!!
