After hearing very good reviews for a long time, I was looking forward to a works meal which was organized with a small group of close colleagues and partners. The food was excellent. Unfortunately that 's where the good news ends. The service was terrible. On entering before getting to our table we were asked where 's the other two? , to which we replied we think they 're running a little late (we arrived five minutes before the sitting), the response was well I hope they hurry up as we have a lot of parties tonight . Impromptu lunch here today. Parking was a slight problem. Lovely friendly greeting. Shown to a spacious table for two. Service was excellent. Food choices were good. No set lunch menu. Food was delicious, good portion sizes and good value. The muchroom soup with medeira was very good. It wasn't fine dining....good hearty fare!!!

Great place for food and drink. Went here for a Christmas meal with my colleagues and thoroughly enjoyed; would seriously recommend the baked goats cheese from the Christmas menu and their homemade steak burger was super tasty! The service was really friendly too. They have a great team of hard working people here and it shows.
