Went out for a birthday celebration two weeks ago, and were SHOCKED. This place has been open for a bit, and we've always said we'd check It out but never got around to It. Bar food is nice, but usually nothing special so we pushed It off. We ended up coming by on a wim to celebrate a birthday and It was so much better than expected. The food was good! We all had different grilled cheese's that were absolutely the best grilled cheese any of us have tasted. We had great drinks, great music, great atmosphere at the outdoor seating tables (With heat lamps that kept us warm, might I add). But the best part by far was the service. I've visited this bar a few times and unfortunately, I've never had a great experience, which is quite disappointing since I live in the area and really want to like it. This past Sunday, I went for a drink with my girlfriend and the service left much to be desired. While the drinks were good, our server seemed more focused on other tasks rather than checking if we wanted another round. To make matters worse, the music selection was awful; they even played "Jingle Bell Rock" in August! When I received the bill, I noticed that they don’t issue any returns. Almost every other bar I've been to offers a receipt, especially when you’re spending a decent amount. Overall, it was a very disappointin...
The first time in this place today. My wife and I go by every day, but I thought it was just a bar. Today we thought we'd let ourselves in here and drink until we saw the menu. So, hey... why don't you leave? s give a burger to go and let?s see how it goes. Shannon the bartender recommended to let it do that. The woman had the chicken slaughter... delicious! The Burger? Let's say it was AMAZING! Of course, the bar is loaded with the best Bourbons to couple everything, but I ended up with the Moscow Mules.... several actually.
My wife and I were searching for a local restaurant and then we came across Bourbon and Brews. The food was fantastic. We found exactly what we were looking for and then some!! We got the boneless wings, burger and chicken sandwich and all 3 were absolutely delicious. Fries were crispy!!! ???? burger was cooked perfectly with crispy bacon??? boneless wings were crispy and flavorful, the chicken sandwich was crispy chicken goodness! Highly recommend and will absolutely eat here multiple times again. Thank you

I really want to like this place because it's so close to home, but it disappoints me every time. The bartender tonight, the woman with sunglasses constantly in her hair, spent the entire evening talking about her phone. I watched as she ignored customers and left tables uncleared while she chatted away. Although I was behind the bar, she showed no respect for the people she was supposed to serve.
What was supposed to be an amazing night turned out to be a not so good one. Both bartenders were very rude. The one bartender complained how little the tips were and made us feel awkward. The owner was very accommodating and apologetic, but we would never go back with how the bar staff treated us. Unfortunately, it is a nice place, just lacks the proper staff and training.
Bourbon and Brews has to be one of my favorite places ever! From the fantastic food and delicious drinks to the homey atmosphere and the very best staff that are the most wonderful group of people. Can I give them 100 stars? PS... Bernice makes the best **** Marys anywhere!!!!!??
I loved the charming atmosphere the second I walked in. I sat down at the bar and was greeted politely by a bartender who gave me his recommendations on drinks. The drink was well made as well as the nachos I ordered as a side.

I have never had anything less than an amazing meal here! By the way, the music has really kicked in, and the staff is fantastic!
