Had lunch here with my husband, meal was gorgeous, can honestly say best fish chips we've had for a long time, massive compliment that coming from my hubby who usually never eats the chips, staff were brill, very friendly and helpful, gardens are absolutely gorgeous, lovely spot

we had a fantastic hallowe’en evening sa 27., the fire fire and fireworks display was great, free eating outside, we had a nice meal inside. bier was great, staff very friendly. worth visiting if they are in the opposite. we were in banklands in eskdale green.

Fantastic pub. Great atmosphere. The locals are friendly and welcoming. Food is 1st class and reasonably priced and staff are great. Thoroughly recommend this pub. A Janine. Kent

The Bowerhouse couldn’t do enough to accommodate my party of 6 (including 6 horses). Rooms great, food great, staff great. Thank you for a fab stay.

A lovely place with great staff The rooms were comfy and clean the pub was cosy and the food was amazing! the staff were friendly and a lot of fun
