We ate at Boyd's New Generation on S. Grand today. It was phenomenal. Everything was fresh, the crew was working hard, and on top of everything. I got fried chicken with THREE sides and a dessert. 2 pieces of white meat, mac-n-cheese, greens, spaghetti, and a piece of cake for 11.99! Zach got country fried steak, yams, fries, and mac-n-cheese, and cake. The portions are huge and it literally tasted like it came out of my Grandma's kitchen. Highly recommend. 10/10 people! I'll be back, probably tomorrow. ?
The Smothered Pork Chops arrived hot and ready to eat! The Smothered Pork Chops were seasoned and cook perfectly. The Smothered Pork Chops dinner comes with mashed potatoes and gravy with green beans and a roll. The Candied Yams were an additional side item I added and were just as delicious! The portion sizes for the price and quality of the meal are hard to beat.
chocolate cake its definitely not fresh taste like it was sitting in a pan for a couple of days and then Ive got the corner of it made it even worse chicken Ill give it a six out of 10 leg and thigh not as meaty but it was slightly tough just not one of their days wish I would have got Chilis
I drop by to pick up breakfast a couple off times a week and it's incredible. Great food, service with a smile, amazing price for what you get.I've stopped by for lunch once, as well, and I definitely look forward to getting the opportunity again!

I've only been able to get in the door twice because they keep the door locked. You can never get in when you want to. I don't know what is going on at this restaurant.They must not take walk I sFood: 5/5
The Fridays Country Fried Steak Special was exceptional. The greens were delicious and the Mac and cheese delightful. Everything was hot and flavorful! I would def recommend you give it a try.
Always a pleasure to go to Boyd's. Springfield is a six hour drive from where I live. I still go to Boyd's several times a year. The best comfort food and peach cobbler. Enjoy!Food: 5/5
I tried this place for the first time and it was delicious. The Walleye Sandwich , Fried Green Tomato and fried Fried Okra was AMAZING!! also very fair price!
