Braceria Elvetica

Set in a nice courtyard, we ordered 350g rib eye and 200g of picanha, plus a few sides. The meat turned up on a griddle which was weird as I always think this over cooks food and doesn’t work unless you cook on a griddle or stone yourself. The meat although tasted very nice, was overdone, the rib eye was especially nice tasting, I asked for medium and it was not even close to pink and at the extremes it was even more like well done. If you serve meat or steak, you must be able to cook it. Dessert we had profiteroles which were ok but it came with fake cream out of a can. Generally forgettable apart from the great service from the waiting staff let down by the kitchen.

Great place for a night out with friends. Good ambiance. Lovely decor. Friendly staff. The selection of good meat is to die for, especially for steaks. There are a lot of other options too, starters, burghers, side orders.

Fabulous food served by very friendly staff . We had the fillet steak and the beef which was very tasty . Maitre de Mauricisimo gave us recommendations for wine as well as holiday travel tips . Well worth a visit !!

If you like slow food in a quiet surrounding, this is not the right place. But it offers a great choice of prime meat dishes and it’s service staff is very friendly and helpful.
