As a student walking to my friend's house after classes at Cardiff Met, I often crossed this place, always thinking it was a coffee shop. Only today, after two years, did I realize it’s actually a pub! I decided to stop in and soak up the atmosphere, and I must say — the vibe is fantastic. Sitting here, surrounded by the beautiful faces of Cardiff, I felt a deep sense of peace. The customer service was really disappointing. I received a glass of wine that was corked or off, and they refused to replace it. I ended up leaving it untouched. I went to another pub afterward and enjoyed a fantastic glass of Pinot Grigio blush. The management was lacking, and I won't be coming back. A great stop, we came here a few times while staying nearby. It’s right on the cycle and bus routes around the area. Staff were great and remembered us on our return. I would highly recommend as a convenient stop for lunch, diner or just drinks.
Beer can chicken was a reasonable size, decent enough meal and fairly priced. Loads of options for drinks as they brew on site. Seemed pretty packed for a Saturday afternoon so be prepared.

Eaten here numerous times before but today was one of the worst meals ever (and I ate at Reading services yesterday! . Food was burnt, cold and the flavour quite sickening.
What happened?? This used to be my go to place for good food and good beer? Needs some tlc, cleaning and management that actually likes beer! Sort it out, please!
Husband and son went Thursday for Master class beer tasting including meal.Special birthday. Absolutely loved every aspect.Beers and food excellent.
Kitchen not open on Saturday reservation only. No signage, we only found out when we tried to order! Make sure you check before sitting down.
