Braidwood Tavern - Réservation de table

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant, with its various seating levels and cozy nooks by the fireplace. These areas are usually reserved for cocktails, but here you can also enjoy a full meal. The service was outstanding, and the specialty cocktails were not only beautifully presented but delicious as well. The menu mostly consists of typical bar food, but the prices are more in line with a luxury Four Seasons resort rather than a typical bar. While I found the prices to be a bit high for a resort town, I still think it's worth stopping by for at least a cocktail.

I made a reservation for my girlfriends birthday. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant which was really an awkward spot. There were children running back and forth while we were talking and eating and trying to enjoy our evening. The waitress seemed new, she was super awkward and only asked for drink refills once. The vegan menu was not so great. The birthday celebratory dessert was Turkish delight on a bed of SUGAR which was terrible. Overall it was a very unsatisfactory experience and I will not go back there again.

Overall experience was okay. The French onion soup was quite sweet. We also ordered 2 BBQ chicken flatbread (one without jalapeños). When the food came both had jalapeños. It took a good 5 minutes to flag someone down to get this fixed. I have never been to a restaurant that the server didn’t come and check to see how the first couple bites were tasting. She did fix the mistake with the flatbread and offered to get me some bread while I waited. Overall, I don’t think I would rush back.

Went in for the Oktoberfest menu, only two of the four beers were available. Didn’t get the starter pretzel. I had to ask the server about it, and it came out with the mains. Ordered the pork cutlet which was not good. No seasoning or flavor. Server didn’t seem to know anything about the menu. Not the level of service or quality I would expect from a Four Seasons property. Réservez une table maintenant

Yet another fantastic experience coming to Braidwood Tavern in Whistler. Dined with my wife and toddler. Felt so comfortable from the moment we arrived. It is a real treat to be able to go out as a family and to be so well taken care of is a rarity nowadays. This is our 7th time dining here and we will be back on our next visit to Whistler. Highly recommend eating here.

The 4 seasons is a great hotel and I enjoyed the ambience of this place. The food however, was quite overpriced, portion sizes small and only moderately good. Free appetizers tasted cheap. Chips were stale. Corn was good! Cider with rosemary did not taste that great.

I was very happy to see that the service and food quality are both top-notch at this restaurant. It's becoming increasingly rare to find such attentive and friendly customer service in North America these days.
