Der Biergarten Brandeck liegt unscheinbar an einer Straße. Wenn man am Eingang gerade aus weitergeht, gelangt man in einen wunderschönen, großen Biergarten unter Kastanien. Leider war das Wetter heute kein Biergartenwetter, so dass wir im Inneren essen mussten. Wir waren eine große Gruppe und hatten daher das Restaurant für uns.Die Einrichtung ist ziemlich dunkel und gut bürgerlich eingerichtet. Der Service war für die große Gruppe in Ordnung.Wir hatten im Vorhinein unser Essen ausgewählt und demnach keine Speisekarte gesehen. Ich hatte einen Salatteller mit Lachs. Angeboten war er mit Schnitzel, aber ich konnte problemlos umbestellen. Einige Portionen, wie die Pellkartoffeln mit Quark und das Gulasch mit Spätzle waren wirklich sehr groß. Mein Salat war nicht sonderlich geschmackvoll. Er bestand aus grünem Salat, Kidneybohnen mit Mais aus der Dose, Karotten und Kraut, auch aus der Dose schätze ich. Der Lachs war in Ordnung. Fazit: Super Essen in fragwürdigem Ambiente, warum auch nicht!Fazit: Am besten im Sommer bei schönem Wetter in den Biergarten gehen!

We drove the highway 5 and wanted good food, not the rusty food. Only 10 minutes from 5 is Brandeck. That was a great choice! The service was excellent and they have a good selection of beer and food. As a real tourist we visited the Wiener Schnitzel. First you get a full dish of salads, then frits and carvings. The scavenger is huge (you only need 1). Prices are also very reasonable. Good choice to drive this 10 minutes extra!
