First of all, a very warm welcome, despite the language barrier. Then we ate VERY well. We discovered specialties: artichokes on the embers (so good! , and pork cheeks with a white wine sauce: a success. All washed down with a wine recommended by them, a 100% Grenache, a local product which was very good. I highly recommend !!!

We were snacking. We ordered four tapas of sausage (delicious) and four of cod. The sausage tapas were €8 each, the cod tapas were €10. They weren't worth it. To make matters worse, they charged us for two glasses of tap water at a euro per glass. We feel cheated. To avoid.

We only stopped for a beer and ended up having the succulent and aromatic chicken. The hosts were delightful and even offered our dog water. Highly recommend this gem of a place in the old town of Valderrobres.

The best lamb I've ever eaten. The entrecote was still raw. After grilling again it was very tasty. Unfortunately only chips instead of real fries or Bravas cubes.
