I had read so many positive reviews about the restaurant and the amazing friendly service and high quality food. Sadly and unfortunately, I didn’t experience what I had read. The food was nice but overpriced for what it was. I’m happy to pay that price for good food but not average food. There were 5 of us dining. We ordered 4 adult main courses and 1 starter as a main, along with 3 cocktails and two soft drinks. The bill came was €120 and I left a €10 tip. We weren’t greeted with any smile as we were seated. We chose this restaurant to dine for the good score you get in tripadvisor and the truth that in some respects I differ quite. The place is totally costumbrist, with some elements quite shocking in terms of decoration is referred to. the location is good, although the place is located on a little busy street. The staff is very friendly and close, although the service is somewhat slow. as far as food is concerned: the taste of so dishes is good and the presentation of some of them own from the high kitchen. I can't say the same thing about the accompaniment, because even though they were good, they weren't the most suitable for the kind of dishes we ordered...In this sense, a little disappoin...
We read the previous reviews before we went. There were some negative comments about staff and waiting times. I can only say that our experience was superb. The owner, a very attentive and friendly lady was the perfect host. She checked on us intermittently to see if we needed anything and we’re happy with the food, but also let us enjoy a beautiful dinner without interrupting anything. We just had a starter of fresh bread, olives (fantastic) and alioli. My wife chose salmon in champagne sauce and I had the sea bream. It was cooked to perfection. Excellent vegan options and energetic friendly service. Vegan tacos (modified to be vegan) and mushrooms on toast as starters were tasty. Vegan tofu stir fry and mushroom risotto main courses were full of flavour. Such a welcome relief to have good vegan options. The meat eater in our group rated his lamb highly as well. Air conditioned and tastefully decorated interior. For vegans this restaurant is worth the drive from anywhere in the island. Highly recommended.

We have dined here 3 or 4 times in the past, but this time we came as a family of 8 including 2 13 year olds. Once again the food knocked our socks off, one of the boys said it was the best meal he had had all holiday, and we all agreed. Great choice of food and wine. Although it’s inside there is air con. Paul the owner is fabulous and the staff great. Definitely worth a visit if your are in Cala en Porter
We always make sure to come here for dinner on our annual visit to Calan Porter and it just gets better and better every year !!! More choice different dishes and always fresh and tasty . You always get a warm welcome and are treated like old friends . You always need to make time for a visit , make sure to boom to avoid disappointment
Amazing place, brillaint service with the most friendly owner and staff, food was incredible! We went twice and the second time I had the prawn noodle salad with peanut dressing…absolutely incredible !! Couldn’t recommended more if you are visiting Cala en Porter! 10/10 experience
My wife and I had dinner here last night. The food was amazing and all the staff were excellent. Very relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely return here before the end of our holiday. Beer was also excellent.
