Brasserie du Mont blanc

A perfectly located pub with a great outdoors area with plenty of shaded tables. We started the night off with a few ‘marmottes’ and decided to stay for dinner. The steak tartare was perfect; hand cut and served in such a way that you could season it yourself to your liking. The chicken burger was a disappointment however: deep fried and fried too long. All juices had left the chicken…. Service was nice and attentive. All of them managed some English and were swift and polite.

Amazing to see how bad you can be as a restaurant ! As soon as you enter, you get nearly aggressed by a few young fellows who should work in another business ! The food is just passable and it’s hard to forget about the service. St Gervais has some great places to get a nice lunch !

We ate twice in the Brasserie du Mont Blanc during our ski holiday in Saint Gervais. Both times we had a great meal and the staff were very friendly, even though on the Saturday night they were very busy. Their burgers and steaks are of a high standard.

The food here is good, but on several visits here we have always felt to be unwanted by the staff. Very different to the service you'll find elsewhere in St. Gervais. I would suggest you try elsewhere when in the area.

Lovely Cafe with calming water views. Great service. Great people watching location. Good healthy food. Lots of available beverages to pass the afternoon time away.
