had a boot from lausanne to thonon les bains at a moment without planning. in thonon we asked a place where to eat, and he recommended le remous. we do not regret this recommendation, the weather was nice, so we decided to sit outside, we were offered one of the few free tables. eating was good and plentiful. the service was attentive and cheerful. and surprising when it came to pay for bill, I told them that I only had Swiss francs with me because I didn't have time to change euros, as we simply jump on the boat just before it left luke. so it was either Swiss franc or credit card, and very much to our surprise he said that they would accept Swiss francs. a very good experience!
we just wanted to have a light lunch and that was exactly the right thing to do. show a really good selection of salads with more imagination than many places. it was also nice to have the choice of small or large. the little one was a very generous part....I didn't see a big one. I had been smoking ferra in my salad, which was very attractive. my man estimated that he had a choice of dressings, because he doesn't like to be sneaking. the sun came after a very bad morning so it was nice to sit outside.
our second visit and even better than our first. eating was great with an inventive menu. the service of the blonde waitress was hands down one of the best. she was so attentive and eager to please. we would always go back....The cherry on the top is that it is a great playground for the children.
