Although we never ate here we decided to call and have a drink after a meal elsewhere, I asked both the waitress and the owner for a wine menu to receive puzzled looks. I am still kicking myself for just ordering a bottle of red and accepting what came. There was a little thought at the back of my head saying you have dropped a clanger here so I asked the waitress for the bill. Three times I asked the waitress but no addition . Eventually I had to ask the owner to. E told 25 euros, now don 't get me wrong I have no issue in paying for good wine but this wasn 't it. I asked again for proof of the price to be shown a wine menu which had been mysteriously absent earlier. There it was at 25 euros the dearest wine they had. When will people learn that ripping tourists off catches up with them. As previous far too many nice restaraunts and bars with good people Avoid avoid avoid
Ma femme et moi nous sommes arrêtés dans un après-midi ensoleillé vers 14h30 aujourd'hui, nous voulions de l'eau si demandée dans notre meilleur français. On nous a donné 2 bouteilles de verre de vittel, 25cl pas moins. Nous avons demandé à voir un menu seulement pour être dit qu'il y avait fermé même si un couple français n'a pas commandé 1 minute avant nous assis. Quand on a demandé la facture, le serveur a dit 6€, on pensait qu'il plaisait. 6 € pour 2 petites bouteilles d'eau, quand on l'a interrogé, il a accroché sur la table comme s'il voulait un combat. Nous avons payé avec consternation et nous avons dit d'être toujours plus prudents. On est allés à une boulangerie qui n'a pas pu faire assez pour nous. Il ne faut qu'une mauvaise pomme pour gâcher une ville. Évitez les gens.
We arrived in Sisteron at mid day wanting a simple lunch. We saw that they had Croque Monsieur with salad and frites. How can you go wrong with Croque Monsieur?!! Everything goes wrong when it is a frozen product (not made at the Brasserie) on tasteless white bread and then served with the ham still frozen not just cold but frozen. Avoid this place at all costs.
