My most recent visit was somewhat disappointing from my previous visit. The dining room was 3/4 empty. Quite a change from my previous difference. I would have expected a few more patrons on a Thursday night during Restaurant Week. The French Onion Soup was excellent as always. Our entree of Pork Chop was cooked well and properly seasoned. From this point things were a little more disappointing. Bread was not served and the banquette we requested never came. It wasn't because they were busy. Desert was even more disappointing. The Creme Burlee was served right out of the refrigerator and lacked the creme texture I am accustom to. The evening ended with a surcharge on the bill. When inquired...
My second time having dinner here and it was excellent again. Had the prime pork chop (honey lavender) with ratatouille and gratin dauphinois. The pork chop may be my favorite pork chop I’ve ever had. Moist and tender, excellent flavor all the waythrough. We has their fromage (cheese) plate for an appetizer, with a pesto cheese, three-cream Brie, and a blue cheese withgrilled bread, raspberry purée, and fig jam. I was so full from dinner I got my dessert (key lime tart) to go. Service wasalso excellent and the owner regularly walks the dining room to greet and check in with guests. One of our favorite places inthe city.
We went for date night and loved it. We got a great wine recommendation. We decided to go with small plates. We LOVED the cast iron mushrooms and the French onion soup. The melange platter was a delight, with amazing cheeses and fig jam. We finished withthe macarons, drool worthy. The service was slow-paced and attentive, which was exactly what we wanted. The owner chatted withus before we left, making sure everything was perfect. We’ll be back for more date nights!
This was a disappointment. The service was very slow. I had hoped to get a couple of drinks but only ended up getting one because the service was incredibly slow. The food was disappointing. My companion got the Black Bean cake and was extremelydisappointed. She typically likes everything. I got the Steak Frites and it was very bland. Ended up spending $90 which included3 alcoholic beverages but before tip...which I didn't want to leave. Will never go back.

My wife and I had lunch. My wife loves french onion soup and says theirs is the best. We had an assortment of olives to start. I had the special sandwich which was excellent. We haven't been there in some time, but we've always been happy with our food. This time was no exception. We'll be back.
I've been going to Brasserie since around 2018 and it still feels like a special occasion every time. The owner almost always comes to every table. Delicious food. I've taken my 10yo since she was 6 and the servers have always been so extra kind to her. Thank you.

As usual, the food is outstanding. The best polenta my wife has ever had and that saying a lot.
