Very odd... We booked a table for 6 of us at 7.30pm on a Friday. We were staying at the hotel, which was busy. There was noone else in the resturant the whole time. The rare steak was well done, bit was quickly corrected. The whole ordering by QR code seemed unnecessary as there were plenty of staff. The drinks came out wrong and when Iwntioned it I was told I'd ordered wrong. The barman came back later and corrected his mistake. It's a nice hotel with good facilities, just needs to pay attention to guests.
The brasserie wasn't open, despite the fact that I'd made a booking on Open Table as a surprise for our wedding anniversary. It was still possible to book for that evening after we were turned away. No incentive was offered to return another day (e.g. a discounted meal as an apology) and no response has been received from the hotel to a complaint I made.
Excellent customer service from the food and beverage team! Kudos to them! However, the reception service leaves much to be desired. The reception staff would benefit from spending a shift in the restaurant to retrain and improve their customer service skills.
My only complaint is that the restaurant stated they didn't open until 7:00 PM, but we had a reservation for 5:30 PM. They didn’t accept us at that time, which was a bit frustrating, but it would have been nice if they had been more accommodating.

I'm sorry to say that the restaurant fell short in several areas. First, it doesn't open until 5 PM, which is inconvenient. Second, the staff seemed inexperienced. Lastly, one item from our order had to be returned.

I made a reservation thinking the restaurant was open, but it turned out to be closed, so I ended up having a sandwich instead. I'm not pleased with the experience.
