From old to Z everything would have to claim a good-bourgeois stomach: The old taste is very sweet and unfortunately is too fast out of the glass. But for what there are automatic deliveries; just sit and wait! The food cost everyone. Pleasant portions, delivered quickly and brought to the table with a smile. Who appears here with a bad facial expression can go back immediately. It's fun! Whether you want or not!
Stopped in for after work beer and food. There were a couple of vegetarian options (good for me) and many for the meat eaters. The Altbier (Gulasch Alt) is, I believe, brewed on the premises and is very good. There's a large seating area outside and a nice dark wood bar inside with plenty of tables also. Thoroughly enjoyed it here. Will be back.
I had three meals at this restaurant during my stay and enjoyed them all. I will warn you though the little glasses of house brewed beer are so tasty and the waiters will keep bringing them until you tell them to stop. The Liver pate meatballs were very tender and tasty and the steak with mustard and melted cheese excellent.
We really enjoyed their own brewed Altbeer 'Gulasch Alt' and had some of their German food specialities 'Leberkase' and Matjes (some sort of hering). Staff was very nice and local, the venue is decorated just as you would expect a German brewery house. Some background music was missing though. Réservez une table maintenant
Small brewery, away from the hectic of the old town in Düsseldorf. The old tastes personally excellent. Here you will find originality in Düsseldorf. The food is excellent, but unfortunately there is no brewhouse plate. But otherwise very good And as I said, the Gulasch Alt very tasty.
Stopped by this cute place and had the best leberkas I've ever had! Pairs nicely with their top fermented Gulasch alt beer. They place your beer on top a coaster and make a black tick mark when they bring you another beer. They bring you small beer glasses to keep them fresh
Alter Bahnhof is a nice place, with a great Biergarten outside. The food is ok, nothing special. For those who like football, they have a big TV and you can enjoy the games.
