I wanted two scoops on a cone with a cup because I like to dip the cone into the cup—it makes it less messy for my beard. However, I was surprised to find out that Braum's doesn’t provide cups without charging for them. One of the women suggested I use a small water cup instead, which was free. I didn't ask for anything for free; maybe my biker look gave her that impression? I'm not sure. After several frustrating exchanges, during which I had to explain that I was trying to order "scoops" rather than "dips," I finally got a clear answer. It felt like pulling teeth to get clarity. Braums is definitely the go-to place for milk, bread, muffins, and ice cream! However, when it comes to waiting for a burger, I’ll have to pass. The wait can be pretty long, and the food often ends up cold before you even get to your destination. But for everything else I mentioned, I give it two thumbs up. I actually wrote this a few weeks ago and forgot to post it, but I'm glad I visited again this evening. I decided to try the chicken strips for the first time, and that was a mistake! I will never order them again; they were a disappointing excuse for chicken strips. Braums, please stick to your slow, cold burgers!
We come here often and love it most of the time but the service and at times food are going down hill lately. The vanilla frozen yogurt machine is broken at least 75% of the time. The lady in the pickup window (day shift) has been rude on several occasions. The chicken strips are more like chicken nuggets and some of the drinks are flat. Hopefully this is temporary because we do enjoy eating here and stopping for ice cream often!
This is the most repulsive Braum's I've ever visited. If I could give zero stars, I definitely would. The air conditioning vents are filled with at least four inches of grime, dust, and who knows how many skin cells from people in the area. I can't understand how anyone could eat in this place. The food at Braum's in Commerce, Texas, was delicious, but the blonde-haired woman who handed me my order was incredibly rude. She closed the doors on me while I was asking for salt and seemed annoyed that I was placing an order. Because of her rudeness, I don’t plan to return.
