Warm and cozy, lots of people enjoying themselves. Literally steps away (acrsoss the street) from the Darmstadt Bhf. Had a couple different beers; all delicious. Had the schweinehaxe; absolutely fantastic. Like having a pork roast on a bone with pork candy (craquelin) on the outside....Best meal I had in Hesse.

warm and cozy, many people enjoy themselves. from the darmstadt bhf literally descending (the road azersiert) had a few different beers; all delicious. had the blackhead; absolutely fantastic. like a pork roast on a bone with black bonbon (craquelin) on the outside....Best meal I had in it.

This is an old "Bensemer" bar for smokers, a rarity in Germany today and as a non-smoker I wouldn't want to sit inside but the outside seating is pleasant enough on a nice day people watching and enjoying a good beer. Réservez une table maintenant
