Brazilian Bakery is a charming spot with a simple, traditional Brazilian menu. They offer freshly made baked goods, along with candies, drinks, frozen treats, empanadas, and sandwiches. My wife and I have visited three times, trying a variety of items including six dulce de leche-filled churros, a Misto Quente, a bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich, tiramisu, concha, apple turnover, mini flan, vanilla raisin cake, and coffee.

Craving something sweet and close to home, I wasn’t sure what I wanted but stumbled upon Brazilian Bakery. I’m a huge fan of churros, especially when they’re freshly made to order, and these did not disappoint—exactly what I needed without even realizing it. I also tried the fish croquette, which I believe was made with salted cod (bacalao). It was a bit salty, but incredibly delicious, with a crunchy exterior and a fluffy, savory filling that was perfection. The only thing I felt was missing for both items was a dipping sauce—perhaps a sweet one for the churros and a creamy or fresh sauce to balance the saltiness of the croquette. I visited Brazilian Bakery for the first time today and highly recommend it! I often drive past this shopping center but hadn’t noticed the bakery since it opened in fall 2020 until I saw it featured in TKPK’s Easter Eggstravaganza. I tried a few items from their menu and can’t wait to go back and try more. I loved my bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich, and my husband really enjoyed his croissant. The whole family was a fan of the dulce de leche churros, of course! The service was super friendly and helpful. It’s fantastic to discover such an amazing local business!
Tucked away in the Takoma Langley Crossroads strip mall is a family run bakery that serves it up fresh and sweet! I stopped by for a dulce de leche churro (homemade and freshly made to order! but couldn't help myself to two donuts and an apple turnover. The fresh baked goodies are amazing sweet, flaky, buttery, just plain delicious. Come for the churros, leave with one of everything else! If you're ever in Takoma Park, make a stop to visit Brazilian Bakery. They got good coffee, too!

Hello, I want to share my disappointing experience at this Brazilian bakery. I traveled from Washington to Takoma with my American friend, and after a 30-minute journey, we were looking forward to a nice visit. Unfortunately, the iced coffee we ordered was not fresh, and the girl behind the counter spoke Spanish. The cheese bread was cold, the coffee machine was out of order, and we had to clean the table ourselves where we sat. I cannot recommend this place.
I recently visited this restaurant for an event, where I enjoyed churros, mini chicken empanadas, and a tres leches cake. Though it was a bit of a trek for me, the experience was certainly worthwhile. Everything was served hot and tasted incredible, and the service was both prompt and friendly. If I'm ever in the area again, I would definitely make a point to return, especially since the French rolls looked tempting!
It is hidden gem. Artisan authentic breads, warm and fresh breakfast to go deliciouscoffee and South American treats. I highly recommend Brazilian Bakery at Takoma Park.
Fred was so nice! Bakery is clean and bread is delicious! I will be coming regularly! If u want authentic Brazilian bread this is the place!
