Food was very nice and good selection of drinks. Deducted one star for service as it was a bit difficult getting the attention of staff (even though they were not busy) and stock levels, which they blamed on a busy lunch period due to the Masters Snooker taking place nearby at Alexandra Palace. We were disappointed that they had run out of all Sunday roasts and when we ordered dessert, it came with a thimble sized portion of custard which they also had apparently run out of....
A very nice looking pub with good beer and food. Unfortunately let down by poorly train staff and gross toilets that need a clean and an upgrade. The pub was busy due to an event at ally pally and so there were a lot of bar staff. However it still took ages to get served as they were all stood around chatting. The lady with the red hair was good but the rest need to get focused.
We had a lovely meal and drinks with very friendly staff however my only criticism would be how very cold it was inside the pub even though the radiators were on we were still chilly and kept our coats on. But when the weather is warmer I expect it’s a perfect little pub to have drinks and food.
