My family's last visit here included the following experience... I ordered a meal that came with mash. I hate mash. Can't stand it. Always have. So I asked the young lady taking my order of I could have chips instead of mash. The young lady nervously told me "no". I said to her "surely you can replace the mash with chips? It's no big deal and I hate mash". She told me she would ask for me. She went to the head Chef and asked my request to which he completely belittled her in front of everyone waiting to order their food. Yelling at her "you know not to all me that!". The club and restaurant are quite nice and very roomy.There was six of us, it was a major birthday celebration, and we had reserved a table therefore the restaurant knew we would be there.The food supervisor was professional & friendly, some other staff also pleasant, however, some staff were unfriendly & abrupt.The food was a disaster. All our meals were served over 2 hours after being ordered, my meal was almost cold when served, and my husband's entrée (a soup) was forgotten, followed by being delivered when he was half way through his main meal. always a friendly greeting. Ushered to our table overlooking the Terrigal Lagoon. very relaxing outlook. food was served hot and tasty. Veal Tortalini was mine, my wife had fish and chips and and they were bothgreat. Normally after lunch restaurants usually clear out all the diners but not Breakers. We were treated like royalty and stayed at our window seats for hours. Nothing was a hassle for the s taff. Very friendly.

After hearing reviews of the new burger bar, we decided to have lunch on Saturday. We all ordered at 1230. The club was not busy by standards. We did not receive our burgers until 2pm some others didn't arrive until 2.15pm. The burger pattys were cold, flavourless and disappointing. A side of burger rings were also ordered and were also cold. Overall a disappointing venture and I will not return for lunch here again.

Good food and generous portions. Tempura prawns and garlic bread for entree was great. Eye fillet steak on the bone was cooked perfectly,chips good and the salad a good mixture and well dressed.
