Delightful surprise. We went here because we had a voucher (and also because they still had an a la carte menu , not just the Christmas menu). From the outside it reminded me of the pubs in the east end of Glasgow 20 years ago (and on the inside too; everyone huddled at the bar, topping-off their own half-settled Guinness if the owner was too busy). The owner came over to serve us and was very chatty and friendly and good with the kids. Then the food; Great. I'm a bit fussy because I eat out a lot when travelling around for work but the food here was just the ticket. Best chicken stack I've ever had (huge tobacco onions) and the helping for my wife's scampi was huge (also delicious) The kids...
