I am originally from New Jersey, and deli is the ultimate comfort food to me. I have been to Brent’s before to get take out, but this was the first time my wife and I ate there in-person. Before I go further, I need to provide some advise. Bring…your…appetite!!! I had the stuffed cabbage dinner. You have the choice of getting one or two rolls. I got one roll, and I took half of it home. Their portions are huge! Take your time and savor your meal. In addition to great meals and sandwiches, they also have great desserts such as cookies and cakes. Tried out this deli while on vacation in LA based on the pictures I saw online and was not disappointed at all. This has to be one of the best deli's ever,as good as NY delis. Everything they do here they do perfectly, From crafting the sandwiches exactly as they should be made, To the friendly Quick service, It was busy during lunch time, Yet I got my order in less than 10 minutes. I had the hot pastrami dip and it was delicious, Perfectly made with nice soft bread and juicy meat. All the food looks great here, And everything's very high quality. You can't go wrong coming here. It may be a ways away from where you're staying but it is well well worth it!
Oh WOW is this place a treat!! I used to come here all the time but hadn’t been in awhile and I am so glad I dropped by. Everything I have ever ordered here has been delicious. Hands down the best matzah soup I’ve ever had. I don’t even need to be “sick“ to eat it. It’s always my go to! Was greeted by a wonderful waitress named Sharleen and had unlimited pickles. I no joke probably are 5 of them. The bagel chips and rye bread with the soup was always a wonderful bonus. They usually tend to get very busy, so I would not come here if I was in a rush, but if you have time to spare, it’s definitely worth dropping by.
Stopped at the Office Depot next door and it smelled really good so my coworker and I thought we would check it out. Walking in we saw the place was packed so we assumed the food was good and we were right. The staff was very friendly and the service was so fast. I would definitely recommend and come again if I was in the area. I ordered the 555 pastrami sandwich and my coworker ordered the philly cheese steak. We were both very happy with our meal. Sandwiches came with steak fries and coleslaw. I'm very picky about coleslaw and this one was very good. Réservez une table maintenant
This establishment is such a gem! I love their tuna melt with a side of fried sweet potatoes. They are the reason I started liking pickles. Service is very friendly and the environment is perfect for catching up w friends, family, or enjoying a date with significant other. It can be quite busy and if there is a wait, it is absolutely worth it. I can't emphasize how good the food is! Give it a try!
Always great food! I was happy we missed the lunch rush, so there was no wait time. The service was a little slower than usual, but it was at shift change so that’s to be expected. You don’t come here to save money, but their food has always been well worth the price.
