To be able to sit outside in the middle of a Melbourne winter and be cosy and warm . This was perfect. Warm heaters , delicious menu with lots of options . Staff were welcoming upon arrival . Pleasant and knowledgeable. Happy hour from 4-7pm $5 basic spirits yes please . We ordered the lamb shank pie and chicken and leek pie . Served in under 20minuets With the most creamy side of mash potatoes. Pastry cooked to perfection filled with tender rich lamb . Of course we could squeeze dessert in . Tiramisu . Perfect to share Defiantly return . Had a splendid evening with great company
Wonderdul food at reasonable prices. They had great meal and drink specials. I ordered something i generally never order and it was delicious. Very generous portion sizes aswel. I had the chicken parmi but it was the usal sloppy greasy heap, it was crispy with fresh ingredients on top. My partner had the Portuguese chicken and it was cooked to perfection and full of flavour. Lovely, warm setting aswel. Friendly, prompt service to match.
Went here for a catch up and wasn't disappointed. Food was excellent and the service was great. We had a sharing platter to start and that hit the spot. We then had a sharing platter for the 2 girls and the men had burgers. All of the food was amazing, well cooked and full of flavour. Surprisingly the bill wasn't over the top. Would definitely recommend this place for a great eat and atmosphere.
The $25 midweek lunch special is super value! Full size main courses and a drink all inclusive. My wife had the spice rubbed pork chop and I had the slow roasted lamb shoulder. Both excellent!Service really good as always.The wait staff are almost exclusively overseas students but they are very well trained.

we opted to eat here on a very cold evening so the ambience was not great - they were busy and inside was already full. Despite the heaters some in our party were still cold but the service was prompt and the food was delicious. Definitely be back on a warmer day
Had a very pleasant night. Service was excellent with all staff friendly and efficient. Food was good, servings quite large. I had the beef wellington which was very nice. Calamari was also excellent and very tender. Spanish tempranillo wine was great.
We had a nice evening with good food and nice warm location to add to the friendly staff. They also have good deal going for lunch. Will visit again before leaving Melbourne.
Had a great meal here. We all went for the winter warmers, beef or lamb. Very tender, great flavour topped off with good wine. Would visit again next time in Melbourne.
