Like Dr Who's tardis landing in a alien landscape a little porthole of inner-city-style has appeared in Batemans Bay, bringing the aroma of great coffee to the relaxed bayside town where salt laden breezes waft the scent of eucalypt up the river valley. The Brew Bar (at the Bayview Hotel) fires up from 6am (perfect for early fisherpeople or tradies) and was in full steam when I called in later in the morning. The friendly staff, recently relocated from Sydney's Surry Hills (coffee cred central), are passionate and proud of their product, all the better for using local Tilba milk and Single Origin Roasters beans. I love that they are open early, I love that they use Tilba milk, I love that the coffee is good quality, I love that the coffee is really well made, I love that it is quick, I love that the guy serving is always really engaging to talk to, I love that people seem to like hanging out there, I love that it is good value for money, I really just love it. 10/10 would go again
Have been a couple of times, the barista is a real friendly guy always up for a chat, however I find the coffee to be average! The Barista knows his stuff and does all the right things, I just find the coffee to be a little weak and washed out, lacks substance and full flavor, Should consider changing coffee brand!
We stopped by for dinner and had a delicious meal. All eight of us were very satisfied with our food. The atmosphere was great and they had all the sports coverage we needed. There was even live music, making it a very enjoyable evening overall.

Went here for lunch for the first time. Mash was lumpy but okay. Schnitzel was like those frozen sponge ones you get from Coles. Vegetables were weirdly flavoured and very mushy and over cooked. The gravy was like salt. Won't be returning
This place has the best coffee in town, made with Tilba milk, bonsoy, and high-quality coffee beans. The atmosphere is laid-back and I can't get enough of it.
Great coffee, friendly barista. Great find, and perfect for people from the big cities including Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide.
Have only visited once but most definitely will be back Coffee great. Location very accessible and open early.
