I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. During my last visit, I ordered the Korean Bacon sandwich but was informed by the waiter that it was not available after all other meals had arrived. They quickly made me a pizza instead and did not charge me for it, which was okay but not ideal. Today, I decided to give the sandwich another try. When it arrived, it was fine, but it did not have the shredded omelette as described. My parents ordered the American breakfast, which was lukewarm and clearly had been sitting for a while. I regularly eat at brewdog Ellon and have been twice in the last couple of months. Food and drink standards have been consistent but seem to be waiting longer and longer for food and drink to be delivered to table . 75 mins on first occasion they were busy) and 45 mins on second occasion even waited that long for drinks). The waiters are very pleasant and they didn’t seem rushed off their feet but the bar staff and kitchen staff seems to be working with a massive backlog. Bar staff were constantly dealing with people who were walking up to bar to get drinks and as a consequence those who had given order online/ to waiting staff were pushed back to bottom of queue. I love Brewdog for the food, atmosphere and innovative thinking. We took our friends here as they hadn't been before. Table we were shown by girl at door to just wasn't suitable as it was right beside games tables etc so very noisy as it was so busy. When we asked if we could be moved it was a no sorry and an I don't really care attitude and off she walked. When waiter arrived I asked again if we could be moved. Let me go check back he came and located us a quieter booth lovely friendly guy who couldn't do enough for us. We arrived in the area a night early for a rare couples night out. Table was booked for 6pm and eventually they got round to taking our order. We explained that we wanted to order starters then mains later once we decided how hungry we were. An hour and 45 minutes later we had long finished our starters and drinks and someone finally came and checked on us. We asked for our bill and left. Place wasn't busy there were empty tables and we didn't have the QR code that some tables had. I've been to my local Brew Dog quite a few times and love the food. This my first time at Ellon. My son ordered the pizza and the one that turned up looked nice but the base was soft. We spoke to the staff and without hesitation, they said they would get a fresh one and did we want to keep that one; which we didn't. The next one was spot on. Restaurants get things wrong, but how they react is how I judge somewhere. So 10/10 and I loved my loaded chips.

Really wanted to visit whilst touring the NE of Scotland and don’t regret it. Nice big table for the 6 of us. Staff were very attentive and helped us try out some new gin and find some merch we liked. Beers were as expected great and the food was in good time and fresh. A mix of burgers, pizzas and sharers. Overflow parking was pretty handy and the shuffle board ‘free’ and the photo booth ‘£1’ were a nice touch. Great night.

The food was overpriced and rubbish. Who ever put the menu together must have thought Ellon was some hole in the deep south of America. Service was lack lustre and all round atmosphere in the joint was of: 'rip of place '. Avoid, avoid even a roadside tea stall would be better.

I was disappointed with the food at this restaurant. It seemed like it may have been reheated. Additionally, I was unable to pay with cash. The bill came with scratch cards for free beers, but they expire tomorrow and can only be redeemed with the purchase of food. Réservez une table maintenant

Warm and friendly welcome, said they were busy but really food was not that long arriving . We had a variety of burgers. Good choices for vegans too. Excellent choice of beers.

I met up with some old friends and was disappointed by the very poor customer service. The quality of service has unfortunately declined from previous experiences.
