Bro, the food straps harder than Brian Shaw!I got the “brisket sandwich” and a “ginger plumb” tea which was fantastic for 11:30am. The sandwich ingredients from the menu reads: “tyler's smoked chopped brisket, housemade pimento cheese, pickled red onions, cumin pickles, griddled on our bread” and you get every bit of that flavor. Perfection on bread made in-house with love. Visited for the first time while on a trip to Jacksonville. Great menu options and fresh atmosphere. Service was fine. My quiche and pastry had good flavor; however, both were unfortunately too dry for my liking. I enjoyed the sliced radish in the side salad. I had higher hopes based on other reviews, though perhaps locals have more experiences to accurately rate this cafe.
