It was New Year’s Eve, and the restaurant was quite noisy due to several large groups. I tried the special menu, but the pasta dish was quite disappointing. It seemed like it had been sitting out for too long, as the sauce was more reminiscent of glue than an actual sauce, and the prawns were diced and mushy, making them hard to find. The other two meals were also just average compared to what we usually expect from the restaurant. However, our server was fantastic and provided multiple options to make up for the unsatisfactory meal.
We had a table for 12 on New Year's Eve, and managing such a large group is no easy task, but the staff made it seem effortless. Cory, our server, did an outstanding job, and the food was fantastic from start to finish, including the appetizers and dessert. I had the salmon, which was cooked to perfection, and everyone else at the table had nothing but compliments about their dishes. The presentation was impressive, and the ambiance was pleasant. We will definitely be returning!
Went for my daughter’s birthday. I ordered GF pasta and it came out under cooked. The manager came out to check about the pasta and made me feel like it was my fault. It was odd. The pasta was redone and came back properly cooked but not very tasty. Not the best experience given my pasta cost $30 $4 extra for GF pasta I’m a Celiac so have no choice). Won’t be going back any time soon.
We were very pleased to be able to book with you for a larger group through Open Table. We would definitely do so again for business. As our business guests were so keen on repeating an experience from the previous day, we were forced to change the group reservation to accommodate myself my husband only. We miss them when they closed the south side location and tried the other locations and they are in no way to match the quality of food and service from the Southside. We are glad they opened up again in the south side. The food and service is exceptional. We enjoyed going there and booked a birthday dinner with them.
