We’ve been several times, and the food has been consistently great. Service was questionable first time around, but this past time we had Laura, who was a GEM! She was so very welcoming and made us feel like we were over for supper at her place. We’ve tried lasagna (have to get meat sauce , chicken Alfredo, and chicken Florentine: I can vouch for all of those being incredible. Portions are generous and accompanied by a sizable dinner salad (don’t recommend Caesar, it’s a little tangier than typical, but the garden salads are excellent! Atmosphere is dimly lit, very quaint, maybe between 5 to10 tables if memory serves correctly. Beer and wine only. Get a carafe, sit back and enjoy Italian fam...
We left tonight. Nobody greeted us when we came in. All the tables were dirty. A man came and cleaned us a table. It took 20 minutes to get someone on the table to get menus afterwards. No welcome, no words that they would be right with us, nothing. Then another 15 minutes until another lady comes to get our drink order. She drank 12 minutes to get drinks and she wasn't friendly. At about 45 minutes when they had not even taken our order (the waitress took another table order that came before us) so we left. It was a terrible experience. What a treat!!! Briandi's is a one in a million Italian restaurant. Fresh, warm bread, fantastic appetizers, salads, soups, and outstanding entrees await you. I had Linguini with Red Clam sauce. It was loaded with clams, and the sauce made me think we were in Italy. There are limited tables, and they do not take reservations. Small bar. Briandis serves some speciaty beers and wines. Also served here are CocaCola products. Lovely desserts to end the meal. Service was EXTRAORDINARY.. Enjoy yourselves!
I loved the marinara and sausage on Linguine. We had awesome wings. Medium Buffalo. The stars of the night were the French onion soup and the sausage. I am a Italian and I loved it. I loved the whole vibe there too. Weirdly enough, the song my grandfather sang to me in Italian played while I visited. I have not heard it in 25-30 years. What a great night. Great staff. Just moved to Nokomis . We ate in the restaurant and it was so so. The bread was homemade and was the bright spot. Tonight we got their pizza and to be honest was the worst pizza I’ve been had. Very thick and doughy crust and too much cheese. The staff and atmosphere was awesome and I would come here weakly but the food is not good at all Service: Dine in
Absolutely delicious!!! Loved this place. Was recommended by a few people. Thanks for recommending it to us because we may never have found this gem. Delicious shrimp, steak, pasta, soup, and of course bread!!! We will be back out next trip! Thanks Chuck for the food. And thank you captain Tony for recommending it!
