Our group arrived at around 7:30 on a Friday night. We more or less stormed the shop and I felt sorry for the staff, but they came through without stress. We ordered Burgers and Chips. It took awhile to get them all ready but the wait was worth it. Fantastic chips and a burger like you used to get 20 years ago. I can say if you want some old fashioned service and taste, don't go past the Bridgewater on Loddon Takeaway.

Some of the best fish and chips I've ever had - and some of the fastest. The fish was obviously very fresh, and not heavily battered. Taking the meal down to the nearby river to enjoy was a treat as well. The coffee was excellent, I sure didn't expect that from a fish and chip shop. I'll definitely be back again when I'm passing through.

This is a fantastic spot to grab some fish and chips or a delicious burger. The service is friendly and attentive - a young man even went above and beyond to give my 4-year-old daughter a leftover Halloween doll, which she absolutely adored. Overall, a wonderful experience that I would highly recommend to others.
The restaurant offers no frills, serving typical pub food. The staff are very friendly. It gets busy on weekends so booking a table is a must, as there are not many other options in the area. We also tried the Inglewood Hotel, but we preferred the atmosphere at Bridgewater.
Great place to stop and get fish n chips. Great Burgers too. Friendly service. The young man went out of his way to give my 4 yo daughter a doll they said they had left over from Halloween. She loved it. Wonderful! Would highly recommend.
