Brighton Hotel-Motel

stayed here for two nights as Hobart was pushing over $200 a night. The reception is only open to 5pm so you have to check in the bar, gaming or bistro area so I had a look in there also. The menu looked ok so decided that would be my spot to dine for the night. The bistro is just like any normal bistro with a large bar selection. The menu is pretty basic but they have plenty of nice specials. Unfortunately I went for the Swiss chicken which from the time I ordered it to having it in front of me was 10 minutes. Normally you wouldn't complain about a quick meal but 10 minutes for breast chicken cooked through with bacon and cheese and a cheese sauce was concerning. I would day it was nice and...

Location of this restaurant is a little out of the way but if you happen to be around the area, is a place you should visit. The food is good, portion is big enough for a hungry traveler and the service is fast.

Excellent menu choices Fantastic specials - $11 overlapping the plate!!!! Great selection of wines & beers They have Bundy Red ! - Good one !!!!

Not overly flash service is slow and wait staff are very average, food is very average ok to go for a simple feed
