Brooklyn Trattoria

My girlfriend is from Italy and we are looking for places to taste some Italian cuisine except olive garden and this place recently appeared so that we decided to review it. I thought the food was good. I had the chicken dish and she had the octopus dish. We also had the Calamari Appetizer I thought was really delicious and tasteful. The only disappointment for me was the size of the octopus shell. If you can see in the pictures, it's a tentacle that doesn't fill me very much, so I'm glad I didn't order that...fat American I am. Vegetarian food review: Seufzer. Wait for months to finally visit this restaurant. The decor is beautiful. The service is great. The food rally really blanden. Bruschetta had hardly any taste and the Arabiatta was tasteless. It was well cooked, but no taste at all. Really disappointed. Oh, good. I feel terrible when I write reviews for food that I'm not good. Yes I ate my food. Was very hungry, but it was more like paying for it, so it could eat. And I was hungry. Of course everyone has another palate and likes to love it.

We went to a date, but didn't expect the warm welcome we got! The table was decorated with rose petals and our servers could not have been nicer. The restaurant manager visited us at our table, had a short chat and was humble enough to ask our used plates (without us of course) food was excellent, ambience was great and would definitely visit again. The restaurant also has a simple reservation system with an open table. More restaurants should follow

Last night was my 5th visit and the best experience so far. Menu is varied enough to satisfy vegetarians, pescatarians, and carnivores alike. Portion size is decent for asking price. Mushroom ravioli was smokey and full of flavor. Bruschetta's balsamic reduction was thick as it should be. Staff was friendly, approachable and attentive but not obtrusive. Only disappointment was the very limited draft beer menu.

The food was excellent, it was so perfect I couldn't stop eating even if I was full. The service was amazing, the owner of the place came by and imagined, was very nice and it was my husband and I jubilee and it was the perfect place for us to go because we enjoyed it very well. When we arrived, they had rose petals over our table. It was very nice.
