Our experience at this place this morning was so bad it was hard to believe! I was a bit worried when a clearly inexperienced waitress wanted to take our order as soon as we'd sat down, giving us no chance to check the menu. We asked for more time and got plenty, she didn't come back for ages. After finally ordering we waited again - and for longer. And longer. Finally the lady in charge comes over and says "I am sorry about the wait, we are cooking your breakfast now." Clearly a lie as the kitchen is visible and we could see that nothing was being cooked. Then she pretty much admitted that she was lying by asking "what was it that you ordered?" So she doesn't even know what is being cooked?...
Having only moved to Echuca a couple of weeks ago I decided to go out with a friend and try one of the locals cafes. Having heard from a friend how good Brownz was I decided to give it a go and it was the best decision I could have made! As soon as we walked in the staff were friendly and attentive . I ordered a coffee and one of the pancake dishes and my friend ordered the chicken salad and a coffee. Our food came out in a timely manner as did our coffees and we could not fault a thing! The food was delicious and the coffee was perfect! Well done guys, you have a wonderful cafe and I will most certainly be making this my local cafe.
Had a delicious latte and hot breakfast at this very welcoming and character filled cafe. All staff were happy and helpful and the meal was second to none. We actually returned two mornings later which we wouldn't normally do as we like to try different places each time. Exceptional value and very much worth a visit.....or two!
I love this place. It is the best cafe in echuca. The coffee is delicious and the food so tasty. The staff treat you like family. A must for a late break.

Only ever had breakfast here - but what we've had has been fine. Service is good and you can sit outside on a sunny day which is nice.
