I made reservations for Mother’s Day last month for 10. We arrived 15 minutes earlier and the restaurant was very crowded. The staff at the front counter were very frustrated and confused. They were seating walk in guests prior to guests that had reservations. They were running over an hour behind schedule. I’m guessing this was because I saw large table that could have sat 6 or 8 guest, but only 2 people were using the table. My whole frustration this morning was that they prioritized guest without reservations before the people that actually had reservations and didn’t utilize the tables wisely. Y’all, we gotta 5 star! First, I am not a breakfast person let alone mimosa guy. But let me tell you what….. atmosphere was awesome, updated cool design with very comfortable chairs! VERY BUSY but the staff does great with upfront wait times. Now the food, just look at the pics! It was as great as the pics look. When I tell you everything slapped, ERRRRTHING slapped! I would have loved to eat at brunch with me. I know Mother’s Day is a busy day of the year so I made reservations weeks prior for 11:30. When I arrived to the restaurant the place was packed I checked in with the hostess. She told me she couldn’t give me an exact time of when I would be seated but I would receive a text message I made sure she had my correct phone number so I could wait in my car. Had reservations for 9am didn't sit down till 10am. I was told i can sit outside if wanted to be seated immediately. They said they don't put tables together for big groups then why take them? I was very disappointed with the customer service I received today. I picked thid spot for a group of 6 to enjoy our mothers day. Why would i sit outside with weather being 47',50 degrees? Front desk host very rude unprofessional. We were not compensated what's so ever. We were told we could get drinks on yhem buy never received. They are not good with big crowds. BLOWN AWAY! From walking up to this establishment. You can tell it is something special. The staff greeted us at the door, very inviting. The decor seems high-end with marble and metallic accents everywhere, with a live musician. It gives a out of town vibe here. The food was even better than the ambiance. I've had the shrimp and grits in many places. This was by far the best I've had. It's on the higher end price wise, but it's definitely worth it. Gratuity is automatically added to the bill. I have no issues with that when the service matches. I will be back again.
I am updating my previous post from Mother's Day. I decided to re-visit and give them a chance since we heard the food was good. I had the lobster omelet really enjoyed it. The presentation was amazing. It was a great experience and we had an attentive waiter. Even spoke to the owner she listened to our previous frustrations apologized. All is well I will definitely be back.
Food was good waitress didn’t come back to check on us then when we went to pay she didn’t tell my son the tip was already included so he tipped her again so she got like 40 percent tip almost the same price of the bill very disappointed with how this was handled also brought us a bottle hot sauce that was empty never came back for drinks to see if we wanted anything else
