Bruno's Borgo Antico

Food here is excellent. It's not your usual Italian restaurant fare, but rather true homestyle Italian cooking. Fresh ingredients, tasty recipes, prepared perfectly. Decor is unintentional 70s kitsch, but look past that and you'll be well rewarded. I recommend trying one of the less common menu items eg. my lamb cutlets with garlic & anchovies in a balsamic glaze were a flavour sensation. We spent a weekend in Caloundra 4 years ago for my birthday, & went here on spec; we're back 4 years later, and made sure to revisit Bruno's. I confess I had the same main course, because it was just so memorable. Honestly, you won't be disappointed!

This little restaurant on busy Nicklin Way is a great find. Their menu is extensive with different daily specials. (We had beautiful avocado wraps to share.) They have the usual Italian choices but there are some interesting additions to the menu. There is a takeaway pizza place attached. Their choice of pizzas & pastas come in a variety of sizes & flavours. The staff are very friendly & accomodating. This is a licensed restaurant but you can take BYO. We will return now we have been introduced to Bruno's.

Great pizza and pasta being going here for year's and is still very popular with the locals and tourist. The Bruno's special is my favourite price is about $25.00 for a family pizza which is enough for 2 adults and may have left over for the next day.

Had a very nice tuesday night dinner after closing our veterinary clinic in Battery Hill The service menu and staff were excellent ALL GIVEN 7 STARS if allowed The spagetti Marina was excellent Would highly recommend

Food was average and had to wait an hour for the entrees, reason was that they "were busy". Very disappointing
