We 1 year-old and parents) arrived at 5:04 PM and by 5:45 PM started to wonder where our food was at. We inquired and were told it would be out shortly . By 6 PM, we asked the team to box it up and it became evident that the team hadn 't even begun working on it until we informed them at 5:45 PM. The owner came out and said we would get a significant discount it should have been free) but it was only about 30-40%. After over an hour of waiting, our food was finally brough out to us in to-go boxes. We got back home and the quantity of food was absolutely embarrassing. One, small chicken breast for chicken marsala $26) and 4 noodles for kids fettuccini $12). I am very disappointed with the way...
I know this is a lofty statement,but here goes:This enduring Little Rock restaurant is one of the best in the country for Italian cuisine. The red sauce is unsurpassed. The pizza, any variety, as an appetizer before your eggplant parmesan or full portion of spaghetti with a meatball or two. The downtown atmosphere is pretty lively with several other food options close by, and just a couple of blocks from Little Rock's Convention Center, the Marriott and Capital Hotels. The Bruno family history is on the wall, photos of the past that remind you of its longevity. I hope you will discover why Bruno's has been successfully serving customers for so many years. Nice place, super packed always so go early or be aware that you’ll be waiting at least 40’. I expected a high end pizza and ended up with nothing good. Super normal pizza, nothing else to say about it. The service was horrible. Just saw the waiter to order food and for the check. Had to ask for dessert after receiving the check which i never asked for. Again, the zabaglione was super recomended and it was nothing close to a good one. It tasted like a palid mud sugary thing. I was expecting something darker with super flavour and body. For an italian place, if pizza is not spectascular, not sure what to expect for the rest of the dishes.
On our first time going, we waited for 45 minutes to get in, but it was definitely worth it. We were told everything was made from scratch, which made us very happy. Once seated we didn't have to wait very long for our order to arrive. The food was fresh, well seasoned, and came out piping hot. We fell in love instantly. Réservez une table maintenant
