I revisited this restaurant after quite some time, and it was well worth it! After taking a moment to decide on my meal, I opted for the grilled salami sandwich combo, which came with fries and a drink. My order didn't take long to arrive, and when it did, the basket of fries was generously filled, and the sandwich looked incredibly appealing.
I dug into the fries first, and they were fantastic! It seemed clear to me that they make their own fries, and you can definitely taste the difference! As for the sandwich, it was delightful—grilled salami exceeded my expectations! I never would have imagined that grilled salami would taste this good, but it truly did!

As soon as you walk into this restaurant, you can tell the food is going to be excellent. The owner, Andy, always welcomes everyone with his warm and cheerful demeanor. It's wonderful to see a small business flourish. Andy serves some of the best dishes in town. Personally, I'm a fan of the Bubby Burger, but I've never had a bad meal during my many visits. Andy really enjoys looking after the regulars and the high school students who often stop by. Bubby truly knows how to do it right. I can't wait for my next visit!
I absolutely adore small hole in the wall joints like Bubby’s and these guys don’t disappoint. I only get a chance to visit this awesome food city every couple of years but I make it a point to come and enjoy a few lunches at Bubby’s because his beef and sausages have been a favorite now for a long time. Heck I go out of my way when I fly to time the trip to catch them open
Yummy! I was on a quest to find a true chicago style hotdog i and this place delivered! I always forget to take a picture before digging in! The hotdog was spot on! It was my first time there, so I ordered a cheeseburger and cheese fries to test out too! Everything was absolutely delicious! The owner was super nice and cool! Definitely be back for more!

Bubbys hotdogs are fantastic and his fries are also very good skins on the fries, I went there for lunch today with my daughter, he gave me and my daughter a free hug, bubbys gives out free hugs, what a guy,he will give you one if u need one.
The best Chicago has to offer! The only meatball sandwich I eat ever. Everything on the menu is top notch. I’m all over the city for work and I go outta my way to hit this place when I can.
Impressive little shop. Amazing customer service that was only topped by the food! You can’t go wrong if you’re in the neighborhood. Best giardenara I’ve had. Forget Lou’s, go see Bubby!
