Bubs has always been no frills. No frills does not turn me off. This place has changed drastically. No more soup. The soup was always so great. The food in general. Terrible. The sides? No more fries , no more homemade sides. Just dump a jar of pickled veggies in the bin.Everything was empty. Was it busy? hell no. Dead. I ordered a fried fish sandwich. It used to be great. This time…. Fried fish on bread. No lettuce, no tomatoes, no cheese. Dry bread with fried fish on a flimsy paper plate.The service…. We eat out a lot and are big tippers. This gal….. we must have been bothering her. No smile no emotion, no thanks. She is capable because she was then socializing with “ the cook” and laughin...

Very casual. Comfortable setting, free jukebox, food is smoked and grilled right in front of you. Delicious and you won't leave hungry! Kid-friendliness: Smoked half chicken too. Very kid friendly.

This is a place where the sides steal the show. What a luxury not to have to beg for more Cole slaw halfway through. Loved the all you can eat side bar. Really delicious.

Baby back ribs were dry and basically inedible. Such a disappointment. Used to be really good! We didn’t eat any of our food.
