Not sure why, but they seated us near the bar which is a separate room than the main dining area. We were there plenty early with a reservation, so why we were seated near the bar is unknown. The bar area was really loud and made it tough to hear conversation at our table. The food was fantastic. The portions are huge. You will be taking some home. Price isn’t cheap, but considering the portion sizes, it’s a little more reasonable. Service was fair. Ran out of water and wasn’t easy to get the waiter’s attention since we were seated in an area that was loud and near the bar.
We went for an appreciation dinner for my wife’s work and we had 16 people there for dinner. The food was amazing as always. We had our own private room and we ordered some items we never had before and it was excellent! The service was amazing as well. The server had us laughing. It was overall a great dinner. Food was terrible quality and tasteless and also overly expensive. It doesn’t matter how big the portions are if the food isn’t good. The ambiance is good. Service was decent once we got seated but we waited about 20 minutes even though we had a reservation and the restaurant was mostly empty.
We had my birthday lunch. The food was very good. The colossal sundae gifted to me quite amazing. Our server was just ok. She may have been new. Dishes were not cleared off our table after courses. Other than that enjoyed our visit.

We enjoyed a wonderful family Christmas/ birthday dinner. The service was outstanding; the food was delicious; and the ambiance in our room (Pope's Table) was such fun!
Make sure to come hungry! Buca is a family oriented restaurant that serves for table for a minimum of 3.
When we’re in Vegas we always plan a trip to Buca’s. You can’t go wrong with this restaurant.
