They may scold me for saying this, but these two owners have been creating a special entree just for me almost every week. It's simply incredible and tastes delicious. This hidden gem of a restaurant is a wonderful discovery. Don't miss out on trying Budai "the bomb" Restaurant located in the far north center near Sprouts and Petco. You won't be disappointed. I'm literally hooked on a dish they prepare especially for me. That's correct they may not like this too much, but the owners will prepare something for you if they have the ingredients to do so. I'm stuck on the eggplant, chicken (no Broccoli) add a few bean sprouts and not too spicey! The absolute bomb dish! These owners will do everything to make you what you want. And the quality is amazing. If you want the very best in Asian food, look no farther than Budai. Open their front door with a hard pull and come taste the best in Albuquerque.
Always ask to see the OTHER menu. I have had some of the most amazing dishes ordering from it, including a lamb stew that was one of the best things I've ever eaten. I also appreciate that the manager always recognizes us and chats while we settle up. Good food and good people.

Food was amazing! Some of the best xioa long bao I've ever had. Staff was super friendly and gave me a crash course in soup dumpling etiquette. Will be visiting again.
Oh my god, I tried the Crispy Flounder for the first time. It is spectacular. The texture was perfect, the sauce heavenly. I may have a new favorite dish here.
