8 pm mid august with only 3 tables occupied in a restaurant that could easily seat 100 guests was an indication. Vast menu and whilst a good concept it just didnt work. Great cocktails, pleasant staff but half duck to start that was less than adequate was not up to standard. Greasy, not crispy and tasteless. Food was tepid. The pad Thai was unpleasant and inedible. The sizzling chicken Cantonese style was apparently deliberately served not sizzling and justified in that previous guests had not liked the ‘splashes’ a sizzling dish produced. We have used this restaurant before, but when it was an Italian restaurant, so knew about the setting which we loved, very relaxed. Now it has changed hands, we still wanted to go back to it and give it a try. We were very pleased we did, lovely ambiance, attentive and polite colleagues and the food was delicious. We would definitely recommend, in fact have already passed on the details to a friend.
Great experience in this restaurant! Great food, great service, great environment beautiful looking place and great staff. The Matcha Brownie was breathtaking, definitely my favorite. It was also my girlfriend's birthday and they made her feel really special! Thank you to all. Would definitely recommend this place.
