Every once in a while, my old workmates and I will catch up and share old memories. This time, we had dinner at 'the best Thai restaurant in Sydney ' according to the workmate who suggested it. It wasn 't quite the best, but it was pretty decent.<br/ <br/ I was third to arrive and sat next to W so we shared a couple of dishes. He wasn 't feeling very hungry so I ate most of it. It presents itself to be more focused on experience as people are seated in a specific seating plan with serviettes and an organised table service with digital technology ordering machine. Though throughout the night, I often found myself looking around to get a waiter's attention. It was actually becoming really frustrating as when I stood up, they kind of freaked out and asked me to be seated and they'll serve you straight away or fetch me the chilli or the spare bowl. Went here for the first time last night. The staff were so welcoming and had big smiles on their faces. The wooden chairs and the decor were very inviting. Food came out in a timely matter. The wait staff had bright shirts one and there was a positive vibe in the restaurant. I enjoyed by meal and the portions were great. I was able to take the leftover food away to bring to work he next day. Overall great experience and I would definately come again and would recommend is restaurant to friends and family. I went on a week day which was good. I'm not sure if there would be plenty of parking on the weekends. This wouldn't deter me away though.

The atmosphere is inviting, with staff making sure to create a pleasant experience dining here. Thai inspired decor adds a touch of magic with its well kept clean and vibrant setting. Food is a mix of traditional known Thai food and a few pleasant offerings not found at other places. I love biting into the food and discovering slight flavour twists that oomph up the taste. Price is mid range, but being surrounded in calm setting is well worth giving this place a go.
My wife and I have been going to this restaurant for more than 20 years. It started a few doors away from its present location with fine fresh Thai food and congenial hosts. It has grown significantly larger, so many others must also recognise the value here.Always fresh, and always a new dish or two to try. Service is unobtrusive but attentive.If there is a better Thai restaurant, I have not found it. Well done.Ken
We have been coming here for 30 years! The food is amazing and incredible service. Authentic Thai food and reasonable prices. Owners Tep and Tittimar take a lot of pride in their business, cleanliness and decoration. They even have engraved chairs with Buddha Raksa on them! Great for dates, family nights or functions upstairs. Highly recommended. Ian
We were having a group dinner one day and a friend chose a restaurant closest to his place. It was a Thai restaurant called Buddha Raksa Thai. You can see from the menu that they are not your typical cheap and cheerful Thai (the Zomato menu listing needs to be updated). Most of the dishes are above $20.

The best Red Duck Curry I have ever eaten. The chef, working here for over 20 years cooks with the heart. You can taste the passion and love in every dish. A must visit for anyone looking for Thai food in Sydney. Hospitality is amazing, family business from the ground up.
Seriously good Thai. Eating in is a great experience. You can even home deliver. (Which is how we came to find out about this hidden gem. They deserve to be packed our every night of the week
