I arrived at this restaurant with high expectations, but my experience was quite disappointing. After being seated, the waiter offered us water but ended up spilling it on the table and a little on me without saying a word. Another couple was seated next to us and received the same treatment—water and a menu—while we waited. Moments later, the waiter took their order, yet we were still ignored. The couple beside us received their drinks, but we had yet to get any attention. Seriously a great bagel shop, friendly staff, quick service even with the line. I ordered the house smoked salmon with extra capers and got myself an orange juice. That bagel was great. It was like double stuffed cream cheese, nice layer of salmon. Thick piece of tomato, I was in heaven it was just right and you had a nice crunch when I put into the bagel, I love the name bullfrog, but the place should be called heavenly bagel because I was in that space. Lol Thank you guys for the great bagel, a new friend recommended this place to me and I will definitely recommend it to others.
Sad to see Stars and Shamrock go, but Bullfrog has kept the feel with adding their own flair. While they don't have beers on tap yet, they have a collection of canned craft beers. They've added a new menu of food with some great veggie options I had the pasta with asparagus and mushrooms, it was very good. Hoping they get a few more TVs and the NFL Sunday package before fall comes around.
The bagels are legit the best in DC and perfect location from my work. I get them weekly and highly recommend everyone to do the same! They are quality, with a nice chew and crisp outside. The Asiago are my favorite but I also get everything bagels. They have a great variety on their menu which is incredible!

Lived in DC for 5 years, have ordered here dozens of times. They are physically incapable of toasting a bagel or putting an appropriate amount of cream cheese on. After the 17282nd time ordering here I can't do it anymore.
I eat here often because I live nearby. Service is always quick friendly. The bagels are good but not great. It blows my mind that some folks think Bullfrog can rival Bethesda Bagels. It's not even close.
The beers were definitely flat. I probably could have said something, but if a bartender can't recognize a flat beer, that's a serious red flag. I rushed through my drink and left quickly.
My wife and I had dinner at Bar Bullfrog last night. We eat out fairly regularly. And this was, hands down, the best meal I've had in a long time. We'll be back soon!

Food is so delicious (you must order the bagel pizza or bagel dog bites) and the service is awesome. Such a great new neighborhood gem!
Smoke turkey egg and cheese on an Asiago cheese bagel. Very fresh smoked Turkey as well as bagel! Egg was cooked perfectly as well
