The restaurant is small and cozy, with simple decor and reasonable prices. While the service was a bit slow, we understood it was a one-person operation, and we were prepared for that. In fact, we had such a great time that we hardly noticed the wait. The BYOB option with a small corkage fee (around $3, I believe) was definitely a bonus. The waitstaff were delightful and added to the overall experience. It was a fantastic outing, and we will certainly be returning!
I have been coming here for many many years and it hold such a special place in my heart. I will ALWAYS order the tricolored tortellini, garlic bread, and the house salad (creamy garlic dressing). The Cesar salad is also amazing! You really have to lovegarlic to come to this restaurant. The people are the best and become like family if you keep coming back. BYOB for dine in.Take out is also amazing. Large portions and pasta always reheats very well. LOVE IT!
The food and service here are consistently excellent. Keep in mind that they don't have a liquor license, so it's a BYOB situation. The restaurant is quite small with limited seating, so it's a good idea to make reservations on busy nights. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the ingredients, which is helpful for those with food allergies. I definitely recommend this place!
Maggie and I ate dinner there the other night and my dinner was excellent! I wanted to have the veal parmigiana but with bolognese sauce instead of the marinara sauce and the chef/owner made it for me! Outstanding! When does that ever happen thata chef makes something you specially requested? Only here! You have to try this place! Réservez une table maintenant
The restaurant offers an extensive range of Italian dishes. The shrimp and scallop dish was outstanding, featuring plenty of both shrimp and scallops. The seafood risotto was also excellent and served in generous portions.
This is the BESTTT lowkey spot for Italian food in CT!!! Their ingredients are always fresh and proportions are great! Could not better taste wise anywhere else in the state
