I dont write alot of reviews on Google. But I happen to work across the parking lot from Buono. So I get lunch there very often. The pros: The wing sauce is great. Their wings and hot wing pizza is terrific. The sandwiches and dinners are pretty good. The pizza prices are extremely expensive. I dont mind paying $3.75 for a slice of hot wing pizza because it is so good. Now the cons. The past year the service has been awful. I NEVER rag on servers just because I am very easy going and it takes alot for me to complain. In the past year i have seen several new young waitresses, probably in high school. First, I want to emphasize that the service was excellent – I have no complaints there. I have fond memories of visiting Buona Pizza downtown with my dad years ago, and it was always delicious. However, the pizza we ordered this time was just okay. It tasted like the same recipe I remembered, but it was overcooked and nearly burned. The "volcanic fries" were particularly disappointing; they consisted of four pieces of cheap pre-packaged U.S. cheese, not even served with cold fries and wing sauce. Sitting as I speak waiting. I put in an order more than an hour ago and I've been sitting in here waiting for it for half hour.. Will not come back here. Not worth this kind of wait for two simple pizzas I can get else where... I'm leaving another review on top of this one. I gave this place the benefit of the doubt and yet again extremely displeased. Indefinitely never getting pizza here again. It was sloppy and disgusting and tasted partially cooked and there was a weird grittiness through the entire pizza including the cheese. Spending 30 dollars for two terrible pizzas is very aggravating.
I found out the hard way there is another restaurant with the same name. I was told to try bouna pizza by another restaurant owner, but I didn't realize what downtown meant so I ended up in this joint. Not pleased. The crust wasn't the worst but overall I didn't like the pizza. The sauce and greasy cheese went through me like liquid plumber. The pizza had an aftertaste that I cant place either. NY pizza, they tried, I personally hated it but the crust was decent. Hopefully they can fix the issues.

Did an online order for wing bites and fries with gravy. Order to be picked up at 6 pm. I paid and went back to work in the plaza. My fries had no gravey so I went back and the girl wanted to charge me again for the gravy. Told her I didn’t get any to begin with and I got some in a to go cup. Opened my fries and wing bites and both were cold and mushy. I got there 10 minuets before 6 and ordered about an hour ahead of time. Everything should have been nice and hot and not sitting for an hour.
Stopped ordering for a few months because they CONSTANTLY messed up. Decided to give them another try because they USE to be such a great place. Order was completely wrong. For example: Paid for many extras on a burger. The burger only had half a slice of cheese??? And a big ol' glob of mayonnaise. Didn't bother to return any of it because the staff is always too busy texting and giggling it up. I don't know what happened to this place, but it's honestly just total incompetency : .
Have always loved Buonas because of the crispy crust, but they changed the dough/crust or something. It's thicker, hard to chew, and doesn't taste good at all. Didn't even look the same! Wait time was a bit much, was told 20-25 minutes but it ended up being 40 minutes. Pretty gross seeing a man touch the counters (where people are hanging all over) and his face than touch your pizza to check if its done! Cashier was nice though.
My Fiance and I eat Buona's wings bite a embarrassing number of times since they try their Mild boneless wings last week. You're the best in the area. The mild sauce is so delicious. The current owner is great, he treated my engagement very well on her birthday. In the future, we will order from Buonas to Greenridge an equally embarrassing amount.

I ordered two pizzas: a round New York style and a Sicilian. I really enjoyed the round pizza and would definitely try it again. There was a little issue with the order not being ready on time, but the staff was very courteous about it and offered me two free liters of drink for the inconvenience.
