We have driven past this place on numerous occasions and wondered what it is like. So tonight we thought we'd try it. Big mistake! We ordered 4 pizzas, Supreme, Vegetarian, Pepperoni and Mexican...where do I start...bases were stuck to the box and fell apart when you tried to take a piece out, the crust pulled away and left the remnants of ingredients hanging in mid air. So we were not sure if we were eating cardboard or uncooked doughy bases.....barely any cheese on any of them. Funny thing was the crusts were black but the middle was not cooked. Apart from very bad pizza, the woman who served us never lifted her head to make eye contact during our order being made in the shop, she complain...
Popped in last night to try out this little Pizza Joint. Having just moved back to Dee Why after 5 years away and trying out all the places on the Strand it was time to give it a try. The first thing that struck me was the welcoming service, other restaurants need to take a leaf out of this ladys service technique. I think she is a recent new owner. We ordered the Proscuitto Pizza and was amazed at how much Proscuitto we got, more than was expected for sure. Asked for a little change in the salad we ordered and was met with a positive response, nothing was too much trouble. Even offered to change the music if we didnt like it! this USED to be one of my favourite pizza places - they could never do wrong... but sadly this has changed, and not in a good way what so ever. My most recent order was terribly late (was told 20 mins, took over an hr), luke warm and the bases seemed packaged rather than the usual hand rolled wood fired goodness of past. I had made special request for some allergy changes and none of these were adopted - so one pizza was inedible. I don't know how this place has gone so downhill... they used to serve the best wood fired pizzas, with thin crispy bases and lashing of sauce and fresh toppings... what we had the other night was more commercial than creative... sadly won't be ordering here again
Honest review, I'm sick of getting ripped off for being gluten intolerant and Buonissimo takes even more advantage and charges the most I've seen for a gluten free option then on top of this being sparse with toppings and already the most expensive pizza I've paid for in Dee Why is just totally unacceptable.

Terrible service. Had to wait 1h30mins for a pizza that never arrived. The girl on the phone was unhelpful and rude. It's a pity because use to like the place. Will never order again
Best pizza I have ever had. I am addicted. The thin and crispy base is great. And cooked in an authentic Woodfire pizza oven. Gourmet ingredients on the pizzas are delicious.
Terrible pizza + service. Called a couple of times and always said it's on the the....we live 500 meters away and it took 45 minutes
Having seen this place transform over the last month . We decided to try it pleasantly surprised good food and service.

This used to be my favourite pizza.. but last two orders were so disappointing,it was burnt and didnt taste good
Good menu and nice venue. Always a good place to eat in, takeaway or delivery. They play good music too.
